The SecondNews team is made up of journalists, marketing, PR and IT professionals whose goal is to make the most of internet technologies in the modern information society. When it comes to looking for new clients, we behave in a very selective way since we do want to fall in love with their projects.

Brief History of SecondNews

SecondNews is one of the pioneers of virtual world journalism. In 2007 we set up a news agency that covered events taking place in Second Life. Due to unique and challenging nature of this project, and also professionalism of the SecondNews journalists involved in it, the company appeared in dozens of Catalan and Spanish media, as well as in international publications.

SecondNews were also the ones who devised the first code of ethics and conduct related to virtual world journalism. Another significant event our journalists were part of was interviewing one candidate running for Prime Minister of Spain – unprecedented event in Second Life. As a company, SecondNews has been awarded a Special Mention in the 7th Business Innovative Ideas Awards by Catalan Government.
